ARRIVAL COCHIN

Welcome to God’s Own Country, upon arrival at cochin airport meet & greet by our representative. Then transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in cochin.

COCHIN - MUNNAR

After having the breakfast proceed to Munnar, the place where the unfolded green carpet is waiting for you. Munnar is a town and Hill Stations located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. On arrival go for sightseeing trip of Munnar; visit theRajamalai( Eravikulam National Park) where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, and then visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish, also visit Echo Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens. Then back to hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.

MUNNAR - THEKKADY

After having the breakfast proceed to Thekkady, which offers diverse attractions like Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station and Spice Plantation. On arrival proceed for boating on the periyar lake and experience a view of calm crystal clear periyar lake and sanctuary, watch different wild animals while boating. Then go for Elephant ride, Jeep trucking, visit Spice Plantation and also watch Kathakaly(kerala traditional dance) & Kalari(Kerala martial arts) shows. Evening go for Ayurvedic massage. Then back to hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

THEKKADY - ALLEPPEY

After enjoying the breakfast proceed to Allepey. On arrival check into houseboat and spend the day at leisure. houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters. While cruising you will witness a full range of life’s and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. All meals including tea and snacks will be served on board. Overnight stay in Allepey Houseboat.

ALLEPPEY - COCHIN - DEPARTURE

After enjoying the breakfast check out from the Houseboat and drive to cochin, On arrival cochin, proceed for sightseeing tour of cochin. The major tourist attractions of Cochin are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue and Mattancherry Palace/Dutch Palace. Then free and easy for shopping until transfer to cochin airport with sweet memories of your holiday.

MUNNAR

Munnar is famous for its expansive tea plantations. A visit to places like Kolukkumalai Tea Estate (the highest tea plantation in the world) or Tata Tea Museum allows you to learn about the tea-making process, enjoy scenic views of lush green hills, and taste fresh tea.

Eravikulam National Park this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a must-visit for nature lovers. It is home to the Nilgiri Tahr, an endangered species of mountain goat. You can take a guided trek to the Anamudi Peak, the highest point in South India, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

The Mattupetty Dam is an iconic spot near Munnar. You can enjoy a boat ride on the Mattupetty Reservoir, take in the views of the surrounding hills, or visit the nearby Mattupetty Dairy Farm. The area is also great for picnics and relaxed walks.

About 15 km from Munnar, Echo Point is a scenic spot known for its natural echo phenomenon. It’s a fun place to shout and hear your voice bounce back from the surrounding hills. The lush green surroundings add to its charm.

THEKKADY

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is the main attraction in Thekkady, known for its rich biodiversity. It covers around 925 square kilometers of forest and wildlife. The sanctuary is home to a variety of species, including elephants, tigers, leopards, sambar deer, and wild boars.

Thekkady is famous for its spice plantations, especially cardamom, pepper, vanilla, nutmeg, and clove. Take a guided tour through the spice plantations to learn about the cultivation process, the various spices grown here, and their medicinal uses. The tours usually include a walk through the lush plantations, where you can also sample fresh spices.

A boat ride on Periyar Lake is one of the best ways to experience the serene beauty of Thekkady. The lake, surrounded by dense forests, offers a chance to enjoy the lush green landscape and spot wildlife, particularly during early morning or late afternoon boat rides.

Take an elephant ride through the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. It’s a unique and thrilling experience that gives you a closer look at the forest and its wildlife from the back of an elephant.

Thekkady offers opportunities to experience traditional Kerala arts like Kalaripayattu (a form of martial arts) and Kathakali (a classical dance-drama form). You can attend live performances at various cultural centers and resorts in the area.

ALLEPPEY

Alleppey (Alappuzha), known as the "Venice of the East," is famous for its backwaters, houseboats, and scenic beauty. A houseboat cruise through the backwaters is the highlight of a visit to Alleppey. Beyond the houseboat ride, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy in the area.

The primary attraction in Alleppey is the iconic houseboat cruise through the backwaters. Houseboats, or Kettuvallams, are traditional wooden boats converted into luxurious floating homes. You can take a day or overnight cruise along the backwaters, exploring the tranquil surroundings, paddy fields, small islands, and quaint villages.

COCHIN

The Chinese Fishing Nets in Fort Kochi are iconic and one of the most photographed landmarks in Cochin. These large, unique nets are set up along the shoreline, and you can watch fishermen operate them. It’s a picturesque spot and offers a glimpse into traditional fishing methods used in the region for centuries.

Located in Fort Kochi, the St. Francis Church is the oldest European church in India. It was originally built by the Portuguese in 1503, and Vasco da Gama was initially buried here. The church is a beautiful example of Portuguese colonial architecture and a place of quiet reflection.

The Santa Cruz Basilica is a beautiful cathedral located in Fort Kochi. It is one of the oldest and most prominent churches in India. The church has stunning frescoes, stained-glass windows, and a peaceful ambiance. It’s an architectural gem reflecting the Portuguese influence in Kerala.

The Paradesi Synagogue in Jew Town, built in 1568, is one of the oldest synagogues in the Commonwealth. The synagogue is famous for its beautiful interiors, with hand-painted Chinese tiles and a historic clock tower. Jew Town itself is a vibrant area with antique shops, spice markets, and a blend of cultural influences. It’s a great place to shop for unique souvenirs and antiques.

The Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, is a beautiful example of Kerala-style architecture. It was built by the Portuguese and later renovated by the Dutch. The palace houses a collection of murals depicting Hindu temple art, royal portraits, and exhibits related to the history of the region. The palace is located near Mattancherry and is a great place to explore Kerala's royal history.
