South India Tour starts from our Chennai.Travelers proceeding towards Andhra pradesh famous lord Balaji temple located at Tirupathi. Then  to  Vellore Golden Temple.Thiruvannamalai Annamalaiyar Temple, Thirunallar  Saneeswara(saturn)Bagavan Temple.   • Day1

    ARRIVAL CHENNAI - KALAHASTI

    On arrival chennai, meet & greet by our representative, proceed to Kalahasti, On arrival check into hotel. Then go for darshan in Sri Kalahasteeswarar temple, one of the pancha bootha stalam and famous shiva temple. Overnight stay in Kalahasti.

    KALAHASTI – TIRUPATHI

    After breakfast drive to Tirupathi. On arrival check into hotel and then go for darshan in Sri Venkatachalapathy temple in tirumala. After darshan visit Padmavathy Amman temple. Then back to hotel. Overnight stay in Tirupathi.

    TIRUPATHI – VELLORE – THIRUVANNAMALAI

    After breakfast drive you to Thiruvannamalai. Enroute visit Vellore Golden Temple. On arrival check into hotel, Later go for darshan in Sri Arunachaleswarar temple, one of the pancha bootha stalam represents fire. Overnight stay in Thiruvannamalai.

    THIRUVANNAMALAI – THIRUNALLAR – VAITHEESWARAN – THANJAVUR

    After breakfast proceed to Thirunallar Saneeswara(saturn) bagavan Temple, after darshan move to Vaitheeswaran. On arrival vaitheeswaran go for darshan in Vaitheeswaran Sevvai(Mars) Temple, one of the Navagraha stalam. After darshan move to Thanjavur. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay in Thanajvur.

    THANJAVUR – MADURAI

    Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Thanjavur Brihadeeswarar Temple, built by Raja Raja Cholan. Then move to Madurai. On arrival Madurai, go for darshan in famous Meenatchi Amman temple, Pazhamuthir cholai murugan temple(One of the Arupadai Veedu) and Thiruparangundram Murugan temple(One of the Arupadai Veedu). After darshan check into hotel. Overnight stay at Madurai.

    After breakfast, drive to Thiruchendur. On arrival go for darshan in Thiruchendur Murugan temple, one of the arupadai veedu temple on the sea side. After darshan check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Thiruchendur.

    After breakfast drive to Trichy. On arrival go for darshan in Sri Ranganathswamy Temple and Ucchi Pillayar Temple. After darshan check-in to hotel. Then free and easy for shopping. Overnight stay in Trichy.

Things to do

TRICHY

1. Kallanai - Kallanai is an ancient dam built across the river Kaveri in South India. This is situated in Tamil Nadu in the district of Trichy. This dam was constructed in AD 2nd century by the Chola king Karikalan which is located 15 km away from Tiruchirapalli. The dam is originally located in Thanjavur district, by approximately 20 km from trichy across kaveri river. The purpose of the dam was to divert the waters of the Kaveri across the fertile Thanjavur delta region for irrigation via canals.

2. Jambukeswarar Temple, Thiruvanaikaval - Jambukeswarar Temple, Thiruvanaikaval is a famous Shiva temple in Tiruchirapalli district. The temple was built by Kocengannan, one of the Early Cholas, around 1,800 years ago. It is located in the Srirangam island, which has the famous Ranganathaswamy temple.

3. Samayapuram Mariamman Temple - Samayapuram Mariamman Temple is a Hindu temple in Samayapuram in Tiruchirappalli. The main deity, Samayapurathal or Mariamman is made of sand and clay like many of the traditional Mariamman deities, and hence unlike many other Hindu deities there are no abhishekams (sacred washing) conducted to the main deity, but instead the "abishekam" is done to the small stone statue in front of it.

4. Butterfly Park - It's a large park featuring a glass butterfly house, landscaped gardens, a fountain & an eatery. This park has garden, fountain, large butterfly glass house, fountain and hut to take rest and have food. The Park also had a 1.2 km walkway for the visitors. The garden is full of nectar flowers and host plants to attract butterflies. A big blue tiger butterfly sculpture can be seen at entrance in the lawn.

5. Our Lady of Lourdes Church - The Our Lady of Lourdes Church is located in the city of Tiruchirapalli in the state of Tamil Nadu. The Church is devoted to Our Lady of Lourdes. The feast of Our Lady of Lourdes is held annually on 11 February.

6. Srirangam Island - Srirangam Island is a river island situated within the city of Tiruchirappalli. It is formed by the river Kaveri and the Kollidam, a tributary of the Kaveri. The island is 19 miles in length and 1.5 miles wide. It is bounded by the Upper Anaicut to the west and the Grand Anaicut to the east. Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is located in the island of Srirangam. It is the tallest temple tower in Asia. Apart from this main tower, there are 21 towers in the temple, each with uniqueness. All the tower in the temple are sculpted with the excellent art work by the ancient artistic legends.

7. World War I Memorial - World War I Memorial, located opposite to Gandhi Market, Tiruchirappalli, is war memorial dedicated for the soldiers of Trichinopoly.

8. Aayiram Kaal Mandapam - Tourist attraction in Tiruchirappalli, in the state of Tamilnadu, India. This is an excellent masterpiece of the Pandian era, which is built out of a single rock. Located inside the Meenakshi Amman temple, this hall houses 1000 pillars, which was built during 1569 A.D. Once you enter Meenakshi Amman temple it will lead to this mandabam (hall). It has ancient articles displayed around the mandapam built with 1000 pillars.

The carvings and statues on each of the pillars are unique and fabulous. Its amazing that such intricate carvings and statues were done hundreds of years back. So artistic and tasteful. There is a statue of Natarajar at the center of this hall. This is an example of the marvel of Indian architecture.

9. Main Guard Gate - Remains of an entrance to the ancient Tiruchirappalli Fort complex with many surrounding vendors. Main Guard Gate open for 24 hrs and all days of the week and there's no Entry fees.

TIRUPATHI

1. Tirumala - Tirumala is a pilgrimage center of great significance and is visited by hundreds of thousands of pilgrims throughout the year. Venkateswara, or Srinivasa or Balaji as the presiding deity Vishnu is known, is enshrined in this temple, located on a range of the Eastern Ghats, called the Seven Hills.It is an ancient temple and its glory has been sung by the saints of the yesteryears. Said to be the richest temple in India, this temple is a vibrant cultural and philanthropic institution with a grand history spanning several centuries.

2. Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple - Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple is one of the holiest sites in Tirupati. It is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi who is worshiped here as Padmavathi. Having a great religious significance like Tirupati Temple, Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple is visited by a large number of devotees throughout the year.Since Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple is one of the famous holy shrines in Tirupati, it witnesses a huge footfall throughout the year. Devotees from various regions pay a visit to this enchanting and holy shrine on a large scale.

3. Horsley Hills - Horsley Hills, the famous hill Station in Andhra Pradesh is 144 km from Tirupati.  The shady slopes are wooded with luxurious vegetation.The journey to Horsley Hills is exciting as one gets to see thick verdure of various species of plants and wild animals. Covering the entire stretch of narrow road are dense growth of Eucalyptus, Jacaranda, Allamanda, Gulmohar and many other species. The natural beauty of the Horsley Hills is indeed irresistible. The Horsley Hills have been a popular refuge for the sun-scorched souls since long .The Mallamma temple is another major tourist attraction at Horsley Hills that is worth visiting.

4. Kailasanatha Kona - The lovely Kailasanatha Kona is a natural and perennial waterfall located in Nagiri Hills near Puttur   Kailasakona Falls is considered by many as sacred and is believed to be enriched with minerals & also possessing curative properties. One of the chief attractions of Kailasakona Waterfalls is the small temple of Lord Shiva and Parvati which is frequented by the tourists who come here.   It is Believed that a bath at this mineral rich waterfalls.

5. Talakona Waterfalls - The  white waters spilling down from a great height is simply alluring. Talakona Waterfalls is one such appealing attraction in the district of Chittoor. Surrounded by dense and arresting woods, this waterfall is a must-visit destination. Visiting Talakona Waterfalls and spending a few hours is enough to reinvigorate the tired senses.

6. Rock Garden - The Rock Garden of Tirupati is one of the must-visit destinations in Andhra Pradesh. It lies in Tirumala Hills that are considered as sacred in the region. This rock garden is said to be a sacred site because according to the legends, it is the place from where Lord Vishnu ascended for Vaikunth Dham. Another legend says that it is the height of the deity in Tirumala Temple measures the same as the height of the religious arch.

SRIKALAHASTI

1. Sri Kalahasteeswara Swami Temple - The Srikalahasti Temple is one of the important ancient Shiva temples of Southern India. Rahu Kala Dosha parihara pooja is the importance which can be performed by ourselves under the guidance of temple priests. Temple priest announces during pooja that their is no need of leaving the clothes weared during the pooja in the temple premises which was a belief practiced.

2. Sri Kalahasthi - One of the oldest shiva temple on the banks of river swarnamukhi.The name refers:Sri means spider,Kala means snake and Hasti means elephant, which once worshipped shiva lingam and attained moksha.piligrims throng the place to perform Rahu Kethu Pooja. The place is around 40 Kms from Tirupathi.

3. Bhakta Kannappa Temple - Steep climb of 258 steps from the walkway which is 53steps from the road level take you to the top. The climb offers you lovely and interesting views of the Shiva Temple, River Swarnamukhi and the town. The walkway is dotted with Nadaswara and Tavil artists practicing different compositions in different ragas at the same time. The temple is tiny and lovely with a statue of Kannapa and Shiva in the temple.

4. Prasanna Varadaraja Swami Temple - Sri Lord Venkateswara swamy devalayam is  very clean and big historical temple 16th AD temple. Temple inside is of great religious and architectural importance.

5. Sahasra Linga Temple - Sahasra Linga Temple is located at a distance of 8 Kms from kalahasthi  on the banks of the river Swarnamukhi. Situated amidst forest, has a beautiful backdrop and our hearts are filled with great sense of devotion.The Sahasra (meaning thousand) Lingas are carved from the same Idol (Stone)..That is  all the Sahasra Lingas are within a single stone.  

6. Bharadwaja Tirtham - Its a gurgling stream of water known as 'Bharadwaja Tirtham' is situated at a distance of about 6 Kms from the main temple. It is well known for its imposing look. This tank houses a beautiful statue of Lord Vinayaka, which makes the environment more pleasure.

This Thapo Vinayaka idol in the middle of the tank is simply marvelous and gives one with a grand impression.
