Ganga Aarti: Each evening the boats on the River Ganga converge at the Dashashwamedha Ghat for the magical Aarti. Five-seven young priests follow a practiced routine with flaming lamps, incense sticks, conches and other holy paraphernalia to a live bhajan sung on the microphone.

NASHIK

A major pilgrimage site for Hindus, the Trimbakeshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The temple is set against the backdrop of the Brahmagiri hills and is surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

A religious hub, Panchavati is associated with the Hindu epic Ramayana and is home to the KalaramSansthan Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama. The area includes sacred ghats along the Godavari River, making it a peaceful place for spiritual reflection.

The Godavari River is considered one of the holiest rivers in India, and Ram Kund is believed to be the spot where Lord Rama took a dip.

The Triveni Sangam in Nashik is the confluence of three sacred rivers: Godavari, Nasardi, and Penganga. This place holds immense religious significance for Hindus, as it is believed that taking a dip here purifies one of their sins.

The Muktidham Temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is known for its serene and peaceful atmosphere. One of the most notable features of Muktidham is its 18 Shivalayas (temples dedicated to Lord Shiva). These temples represent the 12 Jyotirlingas of India and other revered Shiva temples from across the country.

SHIRDI

Sai Baba used to stay alternately at Dwarkamai and the Chavadi. Every night, he would ride to the Chavadi on his donkey, and it was here that he used to rest. Dwarkamai Masjid is where Sai Baba lived for most of his life. He spent his days here, and it became his home. The Chavadi is now a sacred spot where you can witness daily rituals and prayers. It's a place where the spirit of Sai Baba’s simple life continues to be honored.

The Sai Baba Museum is located within the temple complex and offers a glimpse into the life of Sai Baba. The museum houses several items used by Sai Baba during his lifetime, including his clothing, personal belongings, and photographs, giving you a deeper connection to his life and teachings.

Gurusthan is the place where Sai Baba was first spotted by the people of Shirdi as a young boy meditating under a neem tree. You can see a stone slab here marking the spot where Baba meditated, as well as the holy Neem Tree. It’s a place of reflection and an important spot in the history of Sai Baba’s life.
