It is one of the most popular temples in Haridwar and offers a panoramic view of the city and the Ganges River. The temple is believed to fulfill wishes, and devotees often tie a piece of cloth or thread around the temple tree as a symbol of their desires.
One of the most iconic experiences in Haridwar is witnessing the Ganga Aarti. This spectacular ceremony takes place every evening at sunset and involves the chanting of mantras, lighting of oil lamps, and offerings to the Ganges River. The atmosphere is spiritual and mesmerizing, with thousands of devotees participating in the ritual.

Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula are iconic iron suspension bridges over the Ganges River, connecting the two banks of Rishikesh. The bridges offer a beautiful view of the river and the surrounding temples and ashrams. According to Hindu mythology, Laxman (Lord Rama's brother) crossed the river at this spot on a jute rope, and the bridge is said to mark that event.
